The Power of Listening
My name is Andy Fairie. I have been a professional listener for over 14 years, training others to listen and writing a book on the subject. Through the careful use of this skill and cognitive behavioural therapy tools, I have been able to help people at times of crisis in their lives and help them achieve long-lasting change for the better.

What is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)?
CBT works on the basis that what we think, how we feel and what we do are connected. Altering one of these areas can trigger positive changes in the others.
What can CBT help me with?
Backed by solid evidence, CBT effectively addresses mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, OCD, addiction, phobias, trauma, and low self-esteem. The National Institute for Clinical Excellence highly recommends CBT for these issues.
How our sessions work
Sessions last around an hour. The number of sessions required varies, but typically, 6 to 12 sessions should deliver significant improvement.
Not Sure if counselling or CBT is Right for You?
I offer a complimentary 20-minute online or phone consultation. This allows us to get to know each other better and figure out if CBT is the right fit for you.
How much does it cost?
I strive to keep my fees as reasonable as possible. My session rates are £45 for online sessions and £55 for face-to-face counselling. I keep a number of appointments for clients who wish a fortnightly session rather than weekly, which can help to spread the cost. I offer a discount for students, carers and frontline responders.
